Blue Ocean Contact Centers has delivered to the Province of Nova Scotia a new innovative Tourism Customer Contact System (TCCS). This system provides integrated software for making reservations through the Check In central reservation call centre, Visitor Information Centres, or through the website: NovaScotia.com. It also provides sophisticated management capabilities for tourism information, property, and customer data.
The development of this system is a very significant achievement: For the past 15 years, Blue Ocean has been Nova Scotia’s partner in the delivery of the Check In central reservation system. This includes the reservation technology and a world-class tourism contact centre.
TCCS is an industry-leading tool that provides Nova Scotia Tourism with valuable data for future campaigns as well as unprecedented analytic capability, and ultimately puts the Province at the forefront of destination marketers. “The system is customer-focused. It also brings all tourism information for visitors together in one centralized database, which, along with the booking engine, will add to Nova Scotia’s competitive advantage in the changing global marketplace”, says Susan Tilley-Russell, VP Tourism at Blue Ocean Contact Centers.
