As part of the CCL Group managerial team, Celeste Poole gets a bird’s eye view of all of the happenings of CCL Group member companies. In her role as the Manager of Corporate Services, she does facilities planning, purchasing, and maintenance, and operates in a Human Resources function overseeing all of the companies’ occupational health and safety development. For someone who loves fast cars like Celeste, this kind of dynamic, fast-paced working environment is right up her alley!

A self-described “Chocoholic,” Celeste began her CCL Group career in 2006 after previous experience working with a company that designed and implemented employee satisfaction surveys to Fortune 500 companies, as well as doing revenue management analysis for a Canadian airline. Now at CCL Group, she says she loves being in a position where she is given a lot of autonomy and is able to implement new programs from scratch. “I like working for a company that sees potential in its employees and is willing to let them grow,” she says.

Celeste is a person who considers herself a mom above anything else and has very close ties to her family. Within the CCL Group family she enjoys being in a role where she can be close to everybody. “Working with all of the people from all of the companies is great,” she says. Celeste plays a key role as part of the team of people that CCL group shares amongst all of its member companies which include resources for finance and technology as well.

Celeste firmly believes in a mantra held by many members of CCL Group: “You have to do what is right,” she says. “In every job, every task, at some point there are decisions to be made and here I get to do what feels right, and I’m supported for that. I enjoy having mentors that I respect both personally and professionally and who work in harmony with my beliefs and values.”

As someone who loves animals, especially dogs and horses, Celeste will tell you that she was quite literally, raised in a barn… a horse barn that is. Did this prepare her for the energetic atmosphere of working with CCL Group member companies? “Absolutely!” she says.
