Josée Charlebois is the Operations Manager for CCL Group's translation services company, Text in Context, based in Moncton, New Brunswick. A subsidiary of Colour, Text in Context provides translation, revision and proofreading services in over 70 languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Chinese. Josée joined Text in Context in March of 2007 as a Project Coordinator after completing an honors program in business.

Josée's positive attitude and business savvy eventually got her promoted to managing the overall operations of the company. As part of her job she fulfills daily client requests ensuring that all projects are assigned and keeps clients updated on the status of their accounts. She estimates costs, makes budget predictions, and prepares proposals in addition to coordinating monthly billing and overseeing dedicated and freelance staff. "Basically anything that has to do with translation," she says, "I do it!"

Josée firmly believes that working with the folks at Text in Context makes the days fly by. "Everyone I work with is friendly and personable," she says. The greatest part of her job? "Definetly interacting with clients and getting to network at exciting events. I just recently came back from Toronto where I was attending conferences. Those were really fun! Lots of networking in a big city with huge shopping malls!" A definite perk for a confessed shopoholic like Josée.

A bunny lover at heart, Josée keeps one as a pet at home named Puffy and is also an admitted huge chocolate fan, a deposition that seems to be frequent among CCL group employees. She says she's pretty much learned everything there is to know about translation services in her few years with the company. "I've learned so much in the past two years, I don't know where to start!" she says. "Très bon!" we say.
