COLOUR RUNNING LATEST AD CAMPAIGN FOR NSCC
Colour has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) working with them since 1998 to develop their brand and attract students to their many campuses across the Province. In 2007, Colour pushed the creative envelope with their "Built for Students" campaign of 3 television spots that featured real NSCC students sharing their stories and showing hands on learning and real industry experience, as well as cutting-edge computer animation promoting the College and their programs. The campaign would go on to receive a platinum Hermes Creative Award in 2008.
Following the success of "Built for Students," Colour embarked on a new journey with the NSCC for their 2009-2010 campaign that would take the College to the next level. While the previous campaign celebrated the student and their experiences, the new campaign is designed to take it a step beyond their path towards a successful career. The sharing of student stories is still the primary focus but the new spots have been developed to show what happens after they graduate.
"The new campaign takes us through four student's career paths since graduation, while connecting each back to their time at NSCC," says Melissa Fawson, Account Executive for NSCC. "Career success and fulfillment is key to each of these television ads and each spot was developed to be unique from the others and was created to tell the story of the individual graduate."
There are currently two spots running on air, one featuring Edie Punt of the Cartography program and the other featuring Stan Johnson of the Energy Sustainability Engineering program. Colour continues to work with RPM Productions in Halifax and Helios Design in Toronto on the final two spots scheduled to launch in January 2010.
